Roller Hemming with Motoman Robots

The flange of the outer panel is bent over the inner panel and the reinforcement panel in several steps by means of the roller hemming head. Typically used in Automotive Industry for doors and hoods. The roller hemming trajectory is typically generated by the Offline Simulation System and then downloaded to the robot controller.

Motoman Robots like GP215, GP225, GP50 or GP280 provide the right stability and speed which is required for this process.
